Content Marketing Show 2014
In July 2014 I was one of the speakers at the Content Marketing Show in London.
The aim of the conference is to explore the junction between social media, online PR, SEO & content strategy.
This bi-annual event has fast become one of the highlights of the UK digital marketing conference calendar, with up to 1,000 agency representatives, in-house marketing teams and business owners attending.
My talk was about how thinking like a poker player makes you a better content marketer.

The concept behind my talk was to take the mindset of how gamblers think about data, strategy and competitors, and apply it to content marketing.

The response to my presentation was very positive. I was featured in lots of the post-conference round-ups that summarised the event’s key takeaways.
I even ended up writing a follow-up blog for Brandwatch called 8 Things Content Marketers Can Learn From Poker Players.
